Finally up. It’s still technically Wednesday, heh.

I went back to hand-lettering for this one (ok, I used computer typeset for the narration boxes). I think I’m going to try hand-lettering for a while. I think that, like haberdashery, hand-lettering is dying out only because people are stupid and have no taste (people other than you of course).

I might not be able to update next week, being only two weeks from my wedding. I might switch gears entirely and do some spam-subject cartoons a la spamusement, as I’ve sort of been threatening (to myself) to do.

Anyway, it’s late, I’ve had one too many vodka tonics (which would be one), and I need to go to bed. Hope you like this one.

That day just happens to not be today.

I went back to computer lettering and less colors in an attempt to make the whole process a little faster. I’m not sure it made anything go faster, just shifted more work to the computer side. I feel like I’m giving up too soon on hand-lettering too. I’ll likely go back and forth for a while till I find a rhythm.

Oh, and I’m using this old story idea from my friend Kevin P as a segue to a story arc using more cartoony characters along the lines of the things I paint and stuff.

First new one in a while. I got overly ambitious with the shading again. But I wanted to make it special for Unsalted Tops’ glorious return. I’m definitely going to (try to) make this a weekly thing this time.

Now to just find 4 free hours in the week…
